and welcome to The Yardies web site! We are a six piece band from
the San Francisco Bay Area. Our sound stretches across the roots of
America, from Detroit Soul to Texas R&B to West Coast Pop, all
fused together by our underlying love and respect for Jamaican Reggae.
The resulting sound is smooth, sophisticated and thoroughly dance
driven.

Greetings to all! The Yardies currently have no plans to do any live shows in the foreseeable future. However, we cannot rule out the possibility that we will return to performing live. We are focusing our efforts right now on finishing our recording project for our next CD. We will send you an email, if you sign up for our mailing list, when we have some news to report. Check out the music page for 3 free song downloads from our new project. Look for new downloads from our upcoming CD sometime soon.
